Hey! I'm gretta. If you're finding me from Facebook, you might notice that I spell Lee differently. Long story short, I love to mix up the spelling because it was spelled differently on some documents growing up. I just took that accident and ran with it! I've never met a stranger! I'm not afraid to help brides when they need it or assist you with the craziness of wedding days. Seriously, I have helped with so many veils and bustled every other wedding dress I've looked at. I care about those I work for and with, so I will help out in any way I can! Just let me know how I can best assist you, and I'll be there. I have a huge personality and absolutely love working with people. My undergrad is in environmental engineering, but photography has been my passion throughout high school and college. For the past 5+ years I have focused more on turning this passion into a talent and business. Now that I'm out of college, I live in downtown Indy and enjoy discovering all of the hidden gems of the area.
I shoot with nikon gear. Currently nikon d750, 35mm, 50mm. I rent a mirrorless nikon system for all of my booked weddings and can do so with notice for any second shooting if needed. I regularly use OCF, but do have some room for improvement there. I am very coachable and encourage feedback, as I understand every photographer has different preferences and style.
I have second shot for Erika Aileen, LNM Photography (Lindsey Ringle), Kaylee Creighton Photography, Sarah Elizabeth Photos, Mallory Balducci Co, Shelby Jane Photography LLC, Perfect Prints Photography, and many others over the past four years. I currently book minimal weddings of my own in an attempt to balance my photography with my personal life and full time career. I am looking to be more of a 'full time second shooter' since my day job keeps me too busy to edit regularly. Spending my free weekends second shooting allows me to preserve my skill and meet new people.
As I mentioned, I currently live in Indy, but often visit Northwest Indiana and Chicago, South West Florida, and Northern and Upper Michigan. If you're interested in having me travel with you, just let me know! I'm always down to shoot in new areas. I often won't charge a significant travel fee beyond shooting fees because I love going new places!
